I hope you are having a lovely Saturday, friends! Since this is the very first Saturday Spark and I thought I would just start with sharing a little bit about me, why I started my blog and why I'm starting Saturday Spark.
About Me!
I'm Trisha! I'm blessed and fortunate to call beautiful North San Diego County home. I'm married to my high school sweetheart {and God bless him, he's always down to help me on my projects}, we have two teenagers {16 & 13} and a black lab mix rescue {12}. I work full time supporting franchisees in reaching their personal & business goals. I have a true passion for helping others find and go after their WHY. I believe in being a beacon of positivity, providing hope and inspiration, and doing so through your heart, mind, and soul. I believe there is no greater inspiration than seeing someone display pure joy and happiness. Working on our DIY projects and making our house a home brings me joy, happiness, and centers me. I hope that translates and inspires others.
I grew up with This Old House on the television, woodworking magazines in the magazine rack, the smell of coffee, and sawdust in the garage on the weekends. I LOVE the smell of sawdust, it brings me to a happy place. I guess you could say DIY is in my blood.
The WHY Behind My Blog
I started this blog originally as a creative outlet during the pandemic. With being in "lock down" I found myself with more time on my hands since school was virtual and sports were shut down. So I thought..."why not do something for me"...I enjoy writing just as much as I enjoy working on projects and starting a blog was the perfect opportunity to do both. Over time it has transformed into a passion for inspiring other women to create a home that brings family and friends together.
I am always looking for inspiration whether it is fun crafts, decor, entertaining, or gift ideas and I'm a strong believer in supporting other's with their passions. Which leads me to ...

The intent of Saturday Spark is to build a community of like minded women who enjoy sharing home decor, DIY projects, household tips and tricks and entertaining ideas. Let's spark some inspiration and support one another along the way!
